Following the latest government announcement, it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Christmas @TheDriveIn won’t be able to take place this year.

 

The drive in is meant to be an opportunity to relax and enjoy some hours of entertainment in a safe environment. After thoughtful consideration, we have come to the conclusion that we won’t be able to run the full experience that we had hoped and planned for. The event was designed to create an enjoyable festive experience for our guests, but under the current circumstances and based on the latest Government announcement, we have decided to cancel the upcoming Christmas shows.  

 

We started this project because we wanted to give people the opportunity to enjoy a safe day out with family and friends this Christmas. Unfortunately, the reality is that Covid-19 is still a serious health threat and that we haven’t made enough progress in our collective battle against it. We all need to continue to do our part so we can reduce the severity of the situation, and overcome our shared challenge.


All ticket holders will receive a full refund of their tickets in the coming days. We have compiled below some useful information about the refund process. Please read this information thoroughly as it should answer the majority of questions. We are working with our partner SEE Tickets to issue refunds as quickly as possible and so please contact us regarding refunds only if your question has not been answered here. FAQ

Will you be refunding the ticket in full?

Yes, you will receive a refund for the full value of your ticket, including any add-ons and the booking fee. If you booked the optional refund protection service, please note that the fee for this service is not refundable. You will, however, receive a full refund of your ticket, add-ons and booking fee. 

When will the refund be processed?

SEE Tickets will process the refund in 5-7 working days. Please allow a couple extra days for your bank to clear all transactions.

Where would refunds be sent to?

Refunds will be sent to the same payment method you originally used for your booking. That is credit / debit card, paypal or Amazon pay.

What happens if I have changed cards or bank?

If for any reason the refund transaction is rejected by your bank, SEE Tickets will contact you directly to request any necessary information to process your refund.

What happens if I have not received my refund after 7 - 9 days?

If the money has not reached your account after this time, please contact SEE Tickets directly to follow up with your refund.

Can I choose to convert the refund into credit for future events?

SEE Tickets will not be holding any funds to be used as credit for future bookings. The value of the ticket and the booking fee will be refunded in full.


Will the drive in be back if the situation changes?

We are hopeful we can bring @TheDriveIn back on tour when the situation allows for it, and give more people the opportunity to experience the magic of the drive in. However, since organising these events takes our full team several weeks of work, this will have to be in the new year.
